1. Data We Collect
When you use Cataliq, we collect the following information:
- Account information — your name, email address, and username, provided during registration
- Conversation data — messages you send and AI responses, tab names, and related metadata
- Purchase history — when you buy fills in the Android app: the Google Play order number, which pack you bought, when, and whether it was refunded. Google Play handles the payment itself; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to operate the Cataliq service:
- Sync across devices — your conversations are stored server-side so you can access them from any device
- Conversation retention — your chat history is preserved according to the retention policy below
We explicitly do not:
- Use your data to train AI models
- Share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising
- Sell your data to anyone
3. Data Storage & Retention
How long we keep your data depends on your subscription status:
- Subscribed users — conversation data is stored indefinitely while your subscription is active
- Non-subscribed users — conversations remain active for 3 months after tab closure
You can permanently delete any conversation from your profile page. Deleted data cannot be recovered.
4. Deleting Your Account
You can permanently delete your account at any time from your Profile, in the app or on the website. Your account is deleted immediately. Full details and steps.
- Deleted: your account and profile, all conversations, notes, documents, uploaded and generated files, and the application data stored on your device
- Kept: payment records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires and to handle refunds and chargebacks; partner allocation records on the same basis
- Backups and logs: may contain your data until they expire, at most 30 days
If you can no longer sign in, email support@cataliq.net from your account's address and we will delete it for you.
5. Cookies & Sessions
- Session cookie — a single authentication cookie is used to keep you logged in (expires after 1 year of inactivity)
- No tracking cookies — we do not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking
- No third-party cookies — no external scripts set cookies on our domain
Server-side traffic analytics are anonymously used for operational monitoring and do not involve client-side tracking or cookies.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use of Cataliq after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
